Jasper We have had Smokey (previously Jasper) for 2 months and it has been amazing. Tanner and I talk about how amazing of a dog he is every single day. He listens to stay, sit, drop, lay down, and many other commands. He also goes into his kennel with and without being asked. Another great thing about Smokey is that he won't go on furniture unless we ask him to sit with us.He loves to be right by our sides and to see what we are doing. Smokey loves to play with his toys in our fenced in back yard, and also pushing them down the stairs in the house and chasing them on there way down. Smokey also loves to play with other dogs, and has met some new friends who he enjoys having play dates with. I have a nephew who just turned 1 year old the day after Smokey, and Smokey is completely intent on watching over him. Smokey will follow him around all day to make sure he is safe, and will allow my nephew to crawl all over him and play with his toys. They are best buds :) Our little family would not be complete without Smokey, and we don't know what we would do without him. He is so perfect, and we think he is the best dog ever! For being 1 year old, he is super calm and listens very well. We are so thankful for Diamond in the Ruff and everything that the organization does that has allowed us to welcome Smokey into our lives. We love him SOOOOO MUCH!!! Cassie, Tanner, and Smokey
Ollie It has been more than two month since we adopted Ollie from Dimond in the Ruff and he adapted so well! First he was nervous and insecure but after a while he was able to relax and trust us as his new family. He loves to go for his daily walks and outings to the Buffalo State Park on the weekends. He had fun joining a obedient class and learned new commands in no time, disregarding his age of 8 years. We are very happy to have him and thankful that Dimond in the Ruff takes care of all those animals in need of help, to find a new home. I hope my feedback is helpful and I wish you a lot of energy to go on with your good work. Ursula & Jerry & Ollie
Vivy Vivy is doing great in our home! We have two older kids that she gets along well with. She has such a personality. Very much a princess. Lol. Despite being blind, she loves to go for walks and play with her toys. We were surprised how well she gets around. She learned our house very quickly. We can't imagine our lives without her. Thank you so much for all you do. Kari
Trick Jackson, (pictured on the right) formerly Trick, is adjusting so well to our family! When he first arrived at our home there was quite a bit he needed to work on. One of the major things being some slight toy and food aggression twords our other dog. Within a week or two he and our other dog now share toys, and can eat meals side by side with no issues! He also did not know commands but he has been getting better and better every day learning to sit, stay, come and a couple other commands as well! He is a VERY smart little guy! Him and our dog Piper are now pretty inseparable! If they could run and wrestle all day they would! I have to make them chill out and take naps during the day, they are VERY active together! We have also introduced him to several other dogs and after the first initial "sniffing out" he gets a long great with other dogs! He seems to know what dogs want to play and which ones are older and do not want to wrestle! We also have a 2 year old daughter who absolutely loves her "jacken" and he has taken to her quite well! Him and Piper definitely tolerate a lot from her and her toddler friends, he is a very good dog to have around kids! He has been great with every child and adult he has been brought around, especially over the holidays and spending time with our families, he very much LOVES people and attention! He is a very big snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up to us in bed or on the couch with piper. Jackson has been the most perfect addition to our family! He has quite a bit left to learn and work on but we are taking his training day by day! We are so thankful to have him and for Piper to finally have a furever friend that she can chase around and burn energy with! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
