Doug Doug is awesome! He listens well, doesn't care when company comes over, plays with our other pup well and really seems to enjoy "farm" life ( we have cats, goats, horses and a couple more dogs) Doug sleeps in bed, on the couch and has a custom made dog bed from Kat's Kozy Kots for Kritters! He had to go to the vet the other day and a little girl, maybe a year old, came straight to Doug, laid her head on him and he thought that was pretty neat! He's just a really great dog and nothing seems to faze him so far! Our son and Doug get along great (although he's "my" dog) ;) We can't wait to take him camping and other fun things this summer! Thank you DITR for letting us adopt him!
Bailee Bailee (pictured left) seems to be adjusting really well, she is a very sweet and loving dog. It took a little for her and our current dog Dash to set dominance in the household, but are doing good now. She gets along really well with our three cats, two of whom we adopted after we got Bailee. Her favorite thing to do is run, which she gets to do daily, with Dash. Due to her training she does very well off leash, which she gets to do all the time and comes whenever she is called. She is very well mannered and is a great addition to our family and seems to be very happy here. We are really happy we found her, thank you very much!
Bjorn My husband and I rescued Bjorn (pictured on right) in Jan 2016. Your organization was absolutely wonderful in reaching out, communicating logistics, answering our questions and sending a volunteer nearly 2 hours to meet us on the west side of Minnesota to drop Bjorn off. I can officially say he is a wonderful new member of our family! It was a tough couple of months as this guy is VERY smart and very curious to put it mildly.... He is such a sweetheart though and our big Sheepdog, Sampson is starting to enjoy his company and his personality. I have included a few pictures or Bjorn, Sampson and I in March of 2016. We are so happy to have adopted a dog from your organization. Many thanks for your tireless work and mission to place dogs in loving forever homes. Keri and Matt Marske
Birch We adopted Birch in June, I don't remember the exact day, we drove all the way from Minot to Fargo to go get our sweet boy. Since we have been home, he has adjusted really well, he is a huge cuddler, he loves being with us, no matter where we are. His favorite thing to do is go for a walk, he responds well to guests, he is always excited to meet new people. We are so happy that we adopted Birch, he is just amazing, and has made us a complete family.
Anders I adopted Anders from Diamond In The Ruff a couple months ago. He was very nervous and shy when I got him. He has been the best cat! He babysits my kids while they play, and he sleeps with me all night long. I am so glad I found him! I was his foster mom and ended up being my foster fail.
