Sophie Sophie, who is now known as Elly has adjusted very well to living with me. When she initially moved in I had some concern because she was very defensive of the house and it made people nervous of her when they came over. Now she has become the welcoming party for anyone who stops by, which is a relief because she is a very kind and loveable dog and her initial reaction didn't show that. I haven't slept through my alarm clock since having her because she learned that she gets to go on a walk and refuses to let me do so. I've tried hiding under the blankets but she will physically remove them if I do that. Even when I'm tired it is impossible to be angry because she is so goofy about it, all you can do is laugh. We have been doing some work on pointing and ideally I would like her to be my pheasant hunting dog, she is very smart and will hopefully get it all figured out. Elly has been a joy to have in my home and I couldn't be happier with how things are going. I have attached a few pictures of my 43lb lap dog. Nick
Smith I'm so greatful to Diamond in the Ruff for bringing me my little guy. I adopted "Smith" back in end of January/ beginning of February I believe. I renamed him Jax. He has been such an incredible blessing in my life. He's adjusted just fine to my home. He's become the adored prince of the home. He's got me, his mama, my mom, his grandma who spoil him, an aunt, & my own grandma. Jax is definitely the man of the house Haha. Jax was one of two dogs in the home when we first got him. Unfortunately our other dog was in the process of dying and to end her suffering we made the very hard decision to put her down. We wanted her to not be in pain anymore & to move on to the big green field in the sky. At first I think it was hard for him to not have her around. They did build a bond the short time she was still around. However, with time & being spoiled with love I think he's moved on. Maybe in the future we'll consider adopting him a new sister. Until then he can continue to get spoiled with love, toys, & treats. I could not imagine Jax not in my life. He's definitely found his forever home & I wouldn't want it any other way. I've attached some pictures of him & his time with me. Sincerely, Dakota Miller Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
