We've had Paisley for a couple weeks! She really is a very sweet girl. She gets along with everyone she meets and is great with other dogs. When she came to our home one of her front legs was broken but she has always maintained an energetic attitude...it never gets her down!! She had surgery recently to repair her leg and because of this Paisley will require some aftercare. No stairs, jumping on furniture or any play which is unfortunate because those are some of her favorite things! She has some medications to take orally and needs to spend a lot of downtime in her kennel or in your lap relaxing. She wears a cone so she won't chew her bandages. She will need to lay low for 60 days post-op (her surgery was Sept. 21). Paisley does have some other issues,she doesn't appreciate being left alone. She'd like to spend as much time with you as possible! It is also apparent she wasn't properly potty trained so we have been working with her on that. Lots of treats and positive reinforcement. We think she is starting to get it but these things take time and patience.
