Foster Feedback: **$100.00 has been donated towards his adoption fee** 10/1/15 Jones is doing great in his new foster home. Even though he has been in a cast for over 2 months, he is still as energetic as ever. All he really wants to do is play or sit in your lap. He is still the perfect gentleman though. All he wants is some loving and to be close to you, wherever you are. Since he does not do well in a kennel, we have been allowing him roam the house unattended. There has been no issues that have come up though. While meeting a family at an Adoption Day event, Jones started to stare at a baby basket. The parents brought it down to the floor, and naturally Jones became curious. Not seeing anything in the basket, he proceeded to try and walk into it. The parents said, “Wait,” and lifted a blanket to show a foot. Immediately, Jones laid down next to the basket and curled around it, placing his head on the edge of the basket to look in at the baby. He showed great consideration for the baby and was as careful as possible around her. 7/10/15 Thought I would send you all an update of how I am doing! I am just the perfect little house guest now that my hormone levels have gone down. I got in a little spat with my foster sister after I was displaying some inappropriate behavior and learned a great life lesson :) I leave the two little dogs completely alone. The cats in the house scare me so I leave them alone too! I could definitely live in a house with or without other animals. I am most content lounging around and being attached to my people's hips or laying on top of their feet. I am very submissive, and timid but so sweet. I really don't have any naughty behaviors! I have a HUGE pittie smile and love everyone, especially the toddler who is at the house. I don't bark and I am completely potty trained. I go in the kennel, and whine for just a few seconds. I mostly whine because I can hear my people in the house and I can't be with them. I sure hope someone takes me home and makes me their forever dog- I sure deserve it! 6/28/15 Hi! My name is Jones. I came in as a stray at the pound and my foster family doesn't know much else about me- however they assume where I came from probably wasn't a very nice place. I am extremely eager to please, but I drop to the ground and flinch with loud noises and sudden movements. I am very dog friendly, but I don't appear to have much socialization as I don't really seem to know how to play. I LOVE the tennis ball! I am easily excitable because I thrive on positive reinforcement. I don't know how big I am, and can overwhelm very small children. I live with a 2 year old, and think he is so neat. I want to hang out with him and follow him everywhere and am practicing not knocking him over. I was just neutered and my foster family is excited for my male hormones to subside so the yucky behaviors of humping my doggy friends goes away! I am fully potty trained. I am scared of my kennel but do fine in it. I need to learn some leash manners- but because I am so motivated to make my people happy this should be easy. I haven't barked once since I have been home, but I do whine a little in the kennel. Please consider giving me my forever home! I'll be good I promise! 6/26/15 Jones is a super friendly 1 year old pitbull. He does good with other dogs. He is patiently waiting to find his forever family.
