Do you like to run or take walks?   Oreo does!!  Whether you are training for a marathon or out for a casual walk, Oreo is a wonderful partner.  He is great on a leash and thoroughly enjoys walks.  Oreo LOVES to be outside running, playing or finding a sunny spot to hang out.  For this reason, I suggest he have a fenced yard to run in and a home that is active.   He is not a hyper dog, just loves being active.

Oreo has a pretty laid back personality while around the house.  He is aware of what is happening inside and out and definitely curious about it all.  When nothing "exciting" is happening, he will watch out the window or find a rug to sprawl out on and wait for the next "something" to happen.   He is most content after he has had a chance to be outside burning off a bit of energy.    

He loves people and the attention he gets from them.   Oreo is good around children and dogs.  He greets new people with a wagging tail and all four paws on the ground.  So far he has shown us he knows basic commands.  Sit, shake, down and a pretty good stay.  He knows that it is not ok to jump on furniture, counters or people.  He does not think he is a lap dog, but he will lay by your feet and if you sit on the floor you can bet he will be there in a second to cuddle up close.  He is all around very well behaved.  Oreo is truly an amazing boy.
