Foster Home Feedback:

3/20/15

Chance has easily wiggled his way into our hearts. Considering he was in the pound for over a month, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. As it turns out, he is one of the sweetest, loving, snuggly dogs we've ever had in our home. Chance loves to run and play, but his favorite time is when he gets to be the little spoon in our bed. Chance is fully potty trained and does well in his kennel. He is kenneled during the day while we're at work, and it is always clean when we come home. Chance has made friends with all our dogs and does really well with dogs of all sizes. We have not had him around cats. I would recommend older children, as he doesn't realize how strong he is (he is a bit of a bull in a china shop). I know he would love to have a little human brother or sister to play with, too! :)

One thing that he needs to work on is walking on a leash. He LOVES to go for walks and car rides, but he pulls hard on the leash. Other than that, he has been such a wonderful addition to our home. We love him, and seeing him go to his furever home will be bittersweet. Come meet Chance and fall in love with his big block head and puppy dog eyes. He really is a wonderful dog.

2/4/15

Chance has been in our house two days now. He has transitioned beautifully, and he is taking full advantage of his new chance at life! He has gotten along very well with our dogs and has only had one accident in the house. He is super friendly and LOVES to cuddle. He is such a pleasant dog to have around. We are working on his manners. Chance is getting used to being in the house, and sometimes he will try to jump up and check out what's on the counter. We are also trying to teach him some basic commands like sit and down. I think these issues will get better with some time and proper training. He is a good boy who is very excited to find his forever home!
