Burton has adjusted quite nicely to living in our home. He is always wagging his tail when he meets a new person, including kids! Burton is also patient with other dogs.

He looooves to have his belly rubbed. In fact, Burton loves a lot of things. He is very treat/food motivated. He knows sit, shake and down. He probably knows more than that but we are still getting know each other. Burton doesn't jump up on people, even when they come to the door!

We took a walk tonight and when I fell over a crack in the sidewalk, he stopped to make sure I was ok... Chivalry is not dead after all! Burton will chase after anything you throw AND let you fetch it! What a guy! He seems a bit jumpy at certain noises.... like the ice cracking under his paws. That would scare me too, though I suppose.

We have really enjoyed having Burton with us this far. I am excited for him to meet his forever family and make them as happy and entertained as he has made us!!
