The name Nova is derived from the Latin term, 'novus,' which means "new." In astrology terms,  a nova is a bright burst of light & energy. Nova's name definitely fits her personality! Nova is first very sweet and shy but curious when meeting new people and dogs. Once she is comfortable, she is a burst of energy, full of light & happiness! 

Nova is a very sweet and playful puppy! She does well with large and small dogs but hasn't been introduced to cats. She can play for hours and has lots of energy to spare! She is cautious in new situations and often relies on the guidance of her foster brother or her foster parents on what to do in new situations. 

She walks on a leash well, knows how to sit, stay (for a few seconds) and come. She is crate trained and nearly 100% potty-trained. She travels in a kennel in a car like a champ!

She is a pleasure to have as a foster pet in our home!
