Pumpkin and his 3 litter mates (Marigold, Harvest, & Sunflower) were born under the deck of a very kind, caring couple's house. Their mama survived the winter by finding shelter under the deck and receiving fresh water and food from the sweet owners. The care continued following the litter's birth until they were old enough to be weened off mama and able to be caught, when they were surrendered to a rescue in hopes of finding safe, loving, furever homes.

Pumpkin was the first to be caught, but the last to start learning to trust humans. Weighing a pound more than his sisters, the "big" guy is also the biggest scaredy cat of them all. Lol! This sweet little big guy  loves to play with his  sisters  and kitty to ys. He took a long time becoming comfortable with his human foster momma but once he did, he seeks her attention frequently. His purr motor runs often and he's becoming a big fan of sitting with his foster momma (when he's not snuggling up to his sisters, that is). Because of the months spent living with very little human interaction, it could take Pumpkin weeks to warm up to new people and feel comfortable around them. He also startles somewhat easily with new sounds or loud noises. Pumpkin would benefit from a home without a lot of noise or chaos. It would also be in his best interest to be adopted with one of his sisters, as he finds great comfort in snuggling up to them. (   When adopting two together , the second adoption is half price. This means the adoption fee for   Pumpkin AND   one of his sisters would only be $135!)

** Pumpkin has been using the litter box with no issues. He's had a wellness exam and vaccinations and has been FIV/FeLV tested. Prior to his adoption, Pumpkin will also be neutered and microchipped (lifetime enrollment).
