Hi, my name is Bandit! I love going to walks, runs, and just chilling outside with whoever wants to take me! Dogs and cats and people don’t bug me as I walk, but sometimes I get distracted by a turkey or bunny and need a little redirection. But lucky for you I quickly forget what made me so distracted. I also learned how how walk nicely on a leash! Not to brag, but I’m a pretty smart dog. I didn’t have many manners when my foster parents first brought me home but within a week I learned how to sit, stay, and sleep in my kennel. Oh! I also really like baths. I get the zoomies after I get dried off and feel so fresh and clean! 

My favorite toy is a strong Nylabone as I like to chew (but don’t worry, I don’t chew on furniture or anything I shouldn’t). I also enjoy a good rope toy or stuffed animal. Tennis balls and toys that squeak also make me happy.

I may bark a little when you first get me and leave the house or put me in my kennel at night because I’m afraid that you are leaving me but after a few days I will trust that you will always come back for me and relax. 

I think I would do well with a single person, couple or family as long as my forever home makes sure I go out for a few walks a day since as I have some pent up energy if I don’t get to move around or play most of the day. But once I’m tired out I love nothing more than laying on the couch with a human or my bed and getting some well deserved pets while we watch something on Netflix. 

As much as I love my foster parents, I cannot wait to find my forever home! They keep telling me whoever chooses me will be the luckiest human(s) in the world.
