Foster Update:

Peaches, often called Peachy, loves head scratches and face rubs. She's not a lap cat but does seek attention upon entering her room. She's a bit of a tease however, as she'll want attention and then walk away, only to return for more attention a couple minutes later. But hey, she's a gal that knows what she wants and how she wants it. ;-)

This pretty gal has been waiting so patiently for her furever family but is sadly losing hope. She does fine with dogs and older kids who can respect her boundaries but due to a traumatic experience, Peachy needs to be the only cat in the home and has therefore been living in a room by herself for many, many months. Her energy level and interest in playing have since decreased and she now spends nearly all her time just laying around. Peachy needs a permanent home to run around and play in and deserves a furever family to love and dote on her. Is that you?!?

Peaches is a pretty little girl with a big personality. She loves to play with toy mice and jingle balls, and chase after the laser light. Demonstrating a bit of a diva complex, Peaches wants to be queen of the castle and therefore prefers to be the only feline in the home.

Peaches is a talker.  She will make trilling noises to greet you, to ask for a belly rub and to demand her supper.

Her favorite thing to do is hang out on a cat tree in front of a window.  She also enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed at night.

Peaches is very people orientated but she is not a lap kitty.  She will flop on her side and back and want to her belly scratched and enjoy a lot of attention with petting and lay beside you, but she prefers to not be picked up or lay directly on you.

Peaches does fine with respectful dogs of any size.

*Peaches has been using the litter box with no issues. She is done with all of her vetting. She has had a wellness exam, FIV/Feleuk testing, vaccinations, and microchipped (which includes a lifetime enrollment.)*
