Stewie is very young so he qualifies for Diamond in the Ruff's foster to adopt program.  This allows an approved applicant to become a temporary foster for a kitten that is not old enough to be spayed/neutered and adopted. The benefits to this program are: the potential adopter can bond with the young kitten for approximately 2 months while it is recieving its vet care and this also free's up a DITR foster to welcome another homeless animal into their home.  DITR provides transportation from a Fargo location to and from the vet so the foster/adopter must be able to meet the transport person a few times during this time period.  DITR covers all vetting costs until the kitten is altered and at that point the adoption of the kitten is final and the adopter's full responsibilty.
