(German for “my name is Joli, which means “pretty” because my foster mom says I’m a pretty girl). I’m an 11 month old German Shepard who is a real spitfire. I love my squeaky football and love to play with other spherical objects. Mom says I am a good surfer, uh hem counter surfer that is, so I need to have my boundaries set. I respond well to positive reinforcement and my manners are a work in progress. I’m not going to puppy prep school by any means but am starting to learn some etiquette from my brothers in the house.
I have a soft mouth and do well around other dogs + little kids. I do need some assistance with my loose leash walking. It’s hard not to get excited when I’m out in nature - there are so many interesting sounds + smells out there! My tongue goes crazy in the water bowl and I tend to leave a trail of slobber afterwards, so I recommend keeping a lower level in the water bowl unless you want to constantly be mopping your floors! I’m full of energy & personality and am looking for a home who can continue to nurture and train me. I’m crate and house trained, so that’s pretty neat. I’m a very smart girl and am looking for a job to do! I need to be both mentally + physically stimulated. I LOVE keeping tabs on my humans - they mean the world to me.
