​​ Comet continues to do very well in our home!  He has become my buddy and follows me everywhere... I joke with him that we should have called him Shadow instead!  He is very protective of me around my husband and sometimes barks when he gets spooked.  I have noticed that he is more sure of himself when other dogs are present - he follows our Lucy's lead on everything, from bedtime, to going out, to dinner time and everything.  He definitely responds well to that pack leadership mentality.  He's such a good cuddler - I can't emphasize that enough!  It's so wonderful to see and experience because he was so shy and scared and unsure when he got here and now all he wants to do is be around me.  He will make a very loyal and loving pet.

Comet was very shy when he got to our house - to the point where he didn't even want to come out of his kennel! But he got braver and braver every day and now he is my best buddy. He loves to sit in my lap and snuggle and give kisses, and even wags his tail when he sees me coming and follows me everywhere. He was fine with my husband at first but now seems to want to protect me from him - so we are working on that with treats and positive reinforcement and it is going well. Comet does great in his kennel and has interacted with many dogs in our family, as well as small children and seems to do great with everyone. He will make a fantastic pet!
