Trick

Jackson, (pictured on the right) formerly Trick, is adjusting so well to our family! When he first arrived at our home there was quite a bit he needed to work on. One of the major things being some slight toy and food aggression twords our other dog. Within a week or two he and our other dog now share toys, and can eat meals side by side with no issues! He also did not know commands but he has been getting better and better every day learning to sit, stay, come and a couple other commands as well! He is a VERY smart little guy! Him and our dog Piper are now pretty inseparable! If they could run and wrestle all day they would! I have to make them chill out and take naps during the day, they are VERY active together! We have also introduced him to several other dogs and after the first initial "sniffing out" he gets a long great with other dogs! He seems to know what dogs want to play and which ones are older and do not want to wrestle! We also have a 2 year old daughter who absolutely loves her "jacken" and he has taken to her quite well! Him and Piper definitely tolerate a lot from her and her toddler friends, he is a very good dog to have around kids! He has been great with every child and adult he has been brought around, especially over the holidays and spending time with our families, he very much LOVES people and attention! He is a very big snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up to us in bed or on the couch with piper. Jackson has been the most perfect addition to our family! He has quite a bit left to learn and work on but we are taking his training day by day! We are so thankful to have him and for Piper to finally have a furever friend that she can chase around and burn energy with!

Timber

Timber seemed to transition into our home immediately and is just such a loving dog! He loves to go for walks, meet up with his doggie friends at the park, his stuffed duck, and his humans! He’s also become quite the model for some pictures. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better dog and thank DITR for such an amazing experience! Thanks again! Courtney

Tigger
Tigger

He is doing so well in our home! We don't have any major behavioral issues and he is super affectionate. He loves giving headbutts and playing with string. We don't currently have any other pets, but my partner and I have talked about getting another cat. Overall, he seems very happy and is very loving towards us.

Tigereye

He has been great and has settled in quite quickly and made himself at home. He is quite enthusiastic about playing, chasing his tennis balls around the house, but also loves working and is learning his basic obedience quite quickly. There has been no issues beyond the basic puppy things that had to be trained. He is still a little much for my other dog but he is learning quick to mind his manners around her. I am quite happy to have found him. He is quite the companion and look forward to many a long year with him. Philip

Thor

This is Thor, we adopted him from Diamond in the Ruff almost a year ago now!! He hasn't only become a family pet but also a brother to our son! We couldn't ask for a better dog than him. Adopting a dog that didn't have a family meant way more to us then buying one from a breeder. Everyday when we get home he is waiting at the door to give us kisses and hugs! We couldn't ask for better people to work with when adopting him. Thanks to all the volunteers at Diamond in the Ruff!
