Foster Feedback: Onyx is impossible not to love! His favorite thing is to lie on your chest, give head butts, and nuzzle his head under your chin. If there's a fuzzy blanket involved, even better! He is quite nervous around our dogs, but if they are quietly lying down he will contently lay down near them. He's such a people person that he will do anything to lay on someone, especially our 2 year old daughter, however she usually says he's too heavy for that! Although our daughter is young and unpredictable, he has never shown any aggression in response to all of the love she gives him.
His play consists of batting at string toys, using his scratching post, and chasing the laser pointer. Onyx would be an amazing therapy cat or family cat. He does need his "me time" occasionally, so when he's relaxing on the floor, observing the world, we leave him alone. However, the majority of the time he wants to be near (or on) his humans. He's not shy and warms up to new environments quickly. Onyx requests that his forever home be pet free and full of love!
*Onyx is done with all vetting for a year. He has received a wellness exam, is FIV/Feluk negative, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped (which includes a lifetime enrollment with AKC Reunite.)*
